OkSeat: once upon in Italy...
OkSeat have been designed two italian Ph.D. students in computer science.
On July 2008, while the authors were studying experimental algorithms on clustering, many of their friends were getting married and thus going crazy in searching the best seating plan for their banquet. As one of the authors was getting married too, which better idea than applying their algorithms to their friends' problem? In their free time (launch, nights, saturday's evenings...), authors started to experiment some of heuristics about that problem solution (similar to the Travelling salesman problem)
After some successful result, authors decided to implement the Web-application and to throw theirself into the fray...
Since the number of weekends without OkSeat developping approach to "ALL", and the time to spend with the future brides approach to "NULL", now the authors' chances to use OkSeat for theirself is approaching to "NULL"...
...But that's another story.
